Boerne FC Thunder invites you to celebrate the life of Andrew Peña and the sport he loved.

Andrew Peña was a funny, sweet, spirited boy who loved playing soccer. On November 5, 2005, after a fun-filled afternoon of soccer and playing with his best friend, Andrew died at the age of 10 of a heart condition that had been undetected since birth.  Rather than dwell in the sorrow they feel every day, the Peña family has chosen to relish their wonderful memories of Andrew. The Andrew Peña 6 v 6 Tournament is one of ways they celebrate his life each year with players and families throughout South Texas.

• Free lunch (Saturday only) for all players/coaches
• Free Corner Kick Contest
• Free Speed Shot Contest
• A “Spirit Award” to one boys team and one girls team that best exemplifies those characteristics that Andrew demonstrated: enthusiasm, joy of the game, team camaraderie, friendliness to teammates and competitors alike
• Balloon Launch in celebration of the Andrew's life
• Guaranteed three games per team

Boerne FC Thunder will host more than 80 teams and thousands of fans throughout South Texas for this event participate in the tournament celebrating Andrew's life and the game he loved to play.
