Thunder FC Home Fields

Field Care

Trainers, coaches, players, and parents are responsible for assuring all game and practice areas are clean from trash and/or debris prior to vacating the premises.  Many of the fields are provided by schools, city, county or private institutions, thus, it is in our best interest to care for the fields so we many continue to access them for future use.
 
All coaches, volunteers, and parents are expected to comply with parking rules of each facility used by the FC Thunder for soccer activities.
 
FC Thunder prohibits practicing on waterlogged fields; the club in conjunction with the facility owner may close fields due to weather-related conditions.

Boerne City Park

The City of Boerne has invested in the development and maintenance of the soccer fields in our community.  It is a privilege to have access to excellent facilities.  It is important that we all do our part to help maintain our beautiful facititlies.  You can help by doing the following:

  • Pick-up and dispose of trash in one of the many garbage bins
  • Ensure dog owners (including oneself) pick-up and dispose of waste

All U4-U7 Recreational games and Home games for >U8 Recreational, Academy and Select Leagues will be played at Boerne City Park (BCP) located in Boerne, Texas which is ~ 30 miles northwest of downtown San Antonio, next to the Kendall County Fairgrounds and the Cibolo Nature Center.

From San Antonio, drive Interstate 10 (I10) West and exit #542.  Continue north into Boerne, cross the Main Street Bridge over Cibolo Creek and immediately turn right onto River Road (Hwy 46).  Continue east on River Road for ~ 1 mile and turn right and proceed to 106 City Park Road (field will be on right-hand side).

Adler Road

Practice fields are at 820 Adler between the Boerne Community Center and Kendall County Sheriff’s Office; see "A" on map below.
