Age-Specific Clinic Modules
Coaches who have served for 1 year, but who have not completed the required clinic, are prohibited from being added to a team roster and may not obtain a KidSafe Pass which is required in order to physically be on the team sideline during games or participate in practice sessions.
An updated schedule of age-specific clinics offered in Boerne and surrounding areas, will be posted 6-8 weeks prior to the start of each season. Refer to STYSA website for clinic schedule. Clinic fees will be paid by Thunder FC, however, a credit/debit card is required to hold your spot in the class.
Our governing association, South Texas State Soccer Association (STYSA), requires all parent volunteer head/assistant coaches to attend an age-specific coaching clinic within 1 year of initially registering as a coach. The youth modules will improve general knowledge of the game as well as provide coaching and teaching methodologies that will enhance the development of youth soccer players. All courses offered by STYSA may be taught in Spanish.
