"It is a privilege to be able to work with not only players, but parent coaches in serving the community through our Recreational Soccer Program. We do everything we can to ensure we are providing a fun environment for players and families to love the sport. " - Alex Gill
The Boerne Soccer Club Recreational Program fosters a fun, learning environment for children of all skill levels and experience.
BSC collaborates with KidSafe-approved volunteer parent coaches to concentrate on individual player skills development. Our focus is to ensure players have a soccer experience that enables them to develop fundamentals as well as an appreciation of team work and good sportsmanship in a fun environment.
Our volunteer coaches are provided with a developmentally appropriate curriculum to teach from and have access to on the field guidance from our BSC Recreational Director and club support coaches, who are present for every training session. Every recreational team, player and coach is provided with season-long assistance from Boerne Soccer Club staff and Directors to ensure we are doing everything we can for the players to learn and grow.
While the soccer experience in this league focuses primarily on having fun in comparison with the more competitive levels of soccer within the club, the coaching provided ensures all players learn the basic foundation of soccer skills, along with developing social skills, making new friends and enjoying all the life lessons we learn through this great sport.
This program is at the heart of Boerne Soccer Club. For players born in 2016 to 2011, we are proud to have the largest in-house Recreational league in Boerne and the greater San Antonio area. Recreational players follow a curriculum based on developing skills, fun and enjoying both practices and a full league season of 4v4 or 7v7 games!
Our awesome volunteer coaches are aided by our Recreational Director and on-field assistants, to ensure we are providing an environment to develop a love for the game of soccer.
For players born in 2010 and older that want to continue to play recreationally. The only difference from U4-U10 is that teams now have potential additional 'away' games against other Recreational teams from in and around San Antonio.
