Bevan Gatefield

Bevan was raised in Chelmsford Essex. He played professionally in England for several professional academies including West Ham United. After suffering an injury, Bevan started coaching at West Ham United Academy shortly after.

Whilst studying for his bachelors degree in sport and physical education he also was a men’s assistant at the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff.

After completing his bachelor's degree, he moved to Chicago and coached for an MLS Chicago Fire affiliated team, the Northwind Soccer Club for two successful seasons. 

In 2017 he became the Women's soccer assistant at University of Indianapolis where In his first year with the program, they qualified for the Great Lakes Valley Conference tournament for the first time since 2011 with a record of 7-5-2. 

Bevan is currently finishing his masters in Management at University of Indianapolis. He also has USSF C license and is in the process of undertaking the USSF B License. 

Bevan resides in San Antonio with his wife, Lexi & one year old son Louis.
