Boerne Soccer Club is proud to introduce the BSC “Center of Excellence” (COE), specifically tailored to serve the developmental needs of young players 10 years old and under. This innovative initiative marks a significant milestone in our commitment to providing top-tier youth soccer programs and fostering a culture of excellence from the grassroots level.

The transition of the BSC Academy Program into the BSC “Center of Excellence” represents our dedication to nurturing talent and creating a supportive environment where young athletes can thrive. By focusing on our players 10 and under, we aim to lay a strong foundation for their soccer journey and instill a lifelong love for the game. 

The COE will provide speed and agility, technical based training, and wide range activities to further enhance player understanding and ability. This will bring continuity across BSC programs and allow us to form a club wide identity. The COE will further the goal of making Boerne Soccer Club the elite platform for soccer in central Texas.

The Boerne Soccer Club “Center of Excellence” for 10 and under players will offer a comprehensive curriculum designed to develop fundamental skills, foster creativity, and promote positive character traits both on and off the field. Through age-appropriate training sessions, small-sided games, and educational workshops, young players will have the opportunity to grow and excel in a fun and supportive environment.

“Our goal with the BSC “Center of Excellence” is to provide a world-class experience for our youngest players and set them on the path to success in soccer,” said Mike Erwin, Director of Coaching for Boerne Soccer Club. “We believe that by investing in their development at this critical stage, we can help them unlock their full potential and lay the groundwork for future success.”

The “Center of Excellence” will be led by a team of experienced coaches who are dedicated to creating a positive and nurturing learning environment for young players. With a focus on skill development, creativity, and enjoyment of the game, the COE will provide a platform for players to develop both as individuals and as teammates.

We are thrilled to introduce Will Jones as our new "Center of Excellence" Director! With a wealth of coaching experience and numerous accolades under his belt, Coach Will brings a dynamic approach to player development.

Coaching Highlights:

-  Created and directed multiple 200+ player academies at nationally recognized clubs.

- Coached multiple teams to state, regional and national success.

- Developed multiple Division 1 and professional players.

Coach Jones said “I am beyond excited for this opportunity and would like to thank both the board and especially Coach Erwin in giving me this opportunity. “Coach Erwin has an outstanding knowledgeable staff and has established a platform that demonstrates continuity throughout the whole club. This will enhance the club’s ability to attain, not only statewide aspirations, but Regional and National levels.
