BSC Player Resources

1. Techne: the soccer training app

BSC is excited to announce that we have partnered with Techne Futbol to provide a resource to guide players in their individual training.

Every BSC Select receives an email invitation to create a profile on Techne. Techne is a resource paid for by BSC for every player to access professional home training sessions, with data that is logged and stored for the players' records.

There is new content every week, players can compete with their teammates, and coaches will be able to keep track of players' training activities. We are committed to our players' development on and off the field and are very excited to offer this resource!

2. Coaching Opportunities for High School Players

A unique element to being a select player at Boerne Soccer Club is the opportunity for all select players to become a coach in our recreational program as soon as they have reached high school. We have had so many BSC players take advantage of this opportunity and the chance to teach soccer and learn from their own coaches. This has seen wonderful opportunities to develop character and life skills for the select players, but, most importantly, it has served our younger recreational players with a younger role model to aid in their love of soccer through their energy and enthusiasm for the game.

3. BSC College Program

The Boerne Soccer Club College Program is designed to provide our players with the tools and resources they need to achieve their dreams of playing soccer at the collegiate level. Our program offers a comprehensive approach that includes guidance on the college recruitment process, skill development, and academic support.

We are so proud to have supported players on both the boys and girls sides to play in college programs within Divisions 1, 2, and 3, having graduated from the Boerne Soccer Club program.

Our college-experienced coaching staff works closely with our players to identify their strengths and areas for improvement and to provide targeted plans to prepare them for the demands of college-level play. In addition, our program includes access to college showcase events, BSC-hosted college clinics with an on and off-the-field structure, and also college information meetings that provide players with exposure to college coaches and recruiters.

Beyond soccer, our BSC College Program recognizes the importance of academic success and offers guidance to pursue the correct path. Academic excellence and athletic success go hand-in-hand, and we are committed to helping our players achieve both.

Whether you are a player or a parent, the Boerne Soccer Club College Program is an awesome resource for anyone looking to pursue their goals of playing soccer at the collegiate level. With a comprehensive approach and experienced coaching staff, we provide the guidance and support that our players need to succeed.
